Candice hates spiders. So much so that whenever one is spotted by her, she yells "MARK!! SPIDER!!" and I come running with weapon raised and vanquish said foe (+10 XP). Well it appears we have inadvertently trained Luke so that whenever he hears the word "SPIDER!!" yelled, he goes running for under the bed.
I guess it's the whole Pavlov's dog thing, but we never rewarded this behavior or encouraged it. I guess he didn't like the raised commotion or heightened energy.
So now he runs when he hears the word Spider.
Or he has Arachnophobia.
