So this week I got to go to a Mechanical Engineering Symposium (fancy word for meetings) that Raytheon does each year. This year it was in Dallas so it was an easy sell to the boss to let me go.
They always have a bunch of different presentations throughout the day, showing different technologies that the engineers are working on. Yesterday at lunch an engineer from McKinney presented his work on a system called Quick Kill APS (Active Protection System). Basically it is a system to shoot down RPG's shot at american armored vehicles. Just watch the video of this thing working...
